Scott Elliott, Esquire
Scott Elliott has more than 40 years of experience practicing law in the state of South Carolina, where he has been licensed since 1977. He began his legal career as a prosecutor for the South Carolina Attorney General's Office before going into private practice in 1982. In 1996, he founded Elliott & Elliott, P.A. with his wife who has since retired.
He has appeared before South Carolina State and Federal Courts including the South Carolina Supreme Court and the South Carolina Court of Appeals, the South Carolina Public Service Commission, the Workers Compensation Commission, the Administrative Law Court and other state administrative agencies. In addition, he has represented clients in dozens of hearings before the Public Service Commission.
Scott and Mary Elliott reside in Columbia, South Carolina and have three expensive children. When Mr. Elliott isn't practicing law, he buys and sells real estate.

Linda Kitchens, Paralegal
Linda Kitchens has been working at Elliott & Elliott, P.A. since 2014. She has worked as a paralegal for more than 30 years in law firms in Atlanta, Ga. as well as Columbia, S.C. She serves as paralegal in support of Mr. Elliott’s regulatory practice. In addition, she is the administrator for the South Carolina Energy Users Committee (SCEUC), an association of large South Carolina manufacturers who have organized to work for just and reasonable electric and gas rates. In this capacity, Linda plans and organizes annual meetings with SCEUC members, representatives of South Carolina’s electric and natural gas utilities, representatives of the South Carolina Public Service Commission, and the South Carolina Office of Regulatory Staff for the purpose of educating the SCEUC members of all the changes in the electric and gas industries that might impact South Carolina.
Linda is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla.
Marcia Walters, Paralegal
Marcia joined the firm more than 13 years ago after her retirement from the federal government. She has a varied background in the legal and administrative fields managing all secretarial and clerical tasks. Marcia primarily assists the attorney and paralegal in the firm, as well as receptionist duties and various other administrative tasks. Marcia graduated from Midlands Technical College and received her Associates Degree in Business Management.
Marcia enjoys spending her free time with her husband, daughter, grandchildren, and poodle. She is a member of Beulah United Methodist Church in Gilbert, South Carolina and likes to travel.
